I’ve been putting this off, but here it is…. A FACEBOOK PAGE FOR PINK RUNNER! Please, please “like” me so I have more than 1 like and I don’t get insecure and delete it! :)
Colby took me out to dinner at my favorite restaurant Friday night for my Birthday! The food was soooooo good! I started with my favorite salad: Baby Spinach, warm crispy goat’s cheese, pistachios, beets, shallot maple vin. Colby started with a grilled flatbread. He also had the baked jumbo crab cake with butternut squash & smoked gouda risotto, asparagus & whole grain mustard sauce. His risotto was amazing. I had the mushroom ravioli with (light on the) truffle oil (too much makes my belly hurt!), winter vegetable ravioli and ricotta. Everything was amazing and I wish I could eat there every week!
My parents took Colby and I out Saturday night to an Irish Pub and it was great
I had never been there before so I hope to go back again in the future.
I was NOT in the mood to run this morning, but I had messed up my mid-week runs this week. I had to run both Saturday and Sunday and today was 4 (week 1 of half-marathon training). Colby convinced me it wasn’t going to be windy out (it has been so windy lately!! I HATE IT!) so we went to the local park that has a really nice 1.5 mile loop. Colby ran 6 and I ran 4 (in just about the same time) and I had low expectations. Surprisingly, I felt great right away and the weather was about 30 and there was no wind! I have been on my treadmill A LOT because of the bad weather, and I think it is actually helping me pick up speed and build a decent base. I was so happy to have negative splits today too!
I’m SO happy with my splits and I love how Garmin puts the weather for the day along with your statistics! What a great idea! OOh! I also wore my Garmin heart rate monitor for the first time in like 2

I love your Facebook page! Everyone else should too!
Thank you
